A: Set the view to Normal and on the task pane choose Custom Animation. Then click PrtScr. - Q: How do I show the task pane?
A: Click View and then Task Pane. - Q: I copied a bar chart from Excel, but all labels didn’t come over. What do I do?
A: Drag the chart bigger in Excel before copying or use PrtScr and afterwards crop and resize the image in Powerpoint. - Q: When I type a word in a bullet list and press Enter the first letter of the word is automatically capitalised. How do I avoid this?
A: Press Ctrl+Z immediately after it happens. Better solution: Tools – Autocorrect Options – AutoCorrect – Uncheck “Capitalise first letter of sentences” – OK. - Q: When I try to insert a clip art the computer freezes for a long time.
A: In the task pane select Insert Clip Art. In the drop down box called “Search in” uncheck Web Collections and Microsoft Office Online. - Q: To have the date and my name in the upper-right corner I moved the Date Area in the Slide Master to the upper-right, but when I do a title slide it shows up in the lower-left corner. Why?
A: The title slide uses the formatting in the Title Master so you have to move the Date Area in the Title Master as well. - Q: How do I set auto save to 1 minute?
A: File – Save As – Tools – Save Options – Save Autorecover info every 1 minute – OK – Cancel.
