I have this idea:

If people like you and me, all around the globe, take pictures of our surroundings and put it on the web, we all might get a better perspective on how the world lives.

According to the beautiful book "Material World - A Global Family Portrait," few people have any idea how others live.

This Easter I spent travelling in the Dominican Republic with a friend. The trip's 387 best pictures I have glued up on a site called http://simpler-solutions.net/janparasiempre/index.htm for you to enjoy.

Since 1992 I have had the pleasure of living in Grand Cayman, and this site, http://simpler-solutions.net/janandcayman/index.htm, would like to share with you some images of this beautiful island and its people. Do come back as the site will grow during the years.
