Jan Thomas played in his first chess tournament this week. He remembered the most important chess rule: To have fun!

Gran Circo Mundial entertained us exquisitely for three hours at La Laguna today. Clowns, acrobats, elephants, horses, dogs, magic, … It had everything!
Yesterday we celebrated 17de mai in Los Cristianos at the Southern tip of Tenerife. 17de mai tog, pølser, lompe, is, kake. 17de mai tale and more. Very pleasant arrangement by Norske Sjømannskirke. I was queried by a few tourists what we celebrated and if the flag we carried was from Scandinavia. A bar owner did his best when he shouted ‘Hej flicka!’ (Swedish for ‘Hi girl!)
The cake was delicious!
